ABOUT ALPHA CHI OMEGA AT MICHIGAN STATE
Alpha Chi Omega is a non-profit women's fraternity founded on October 15, 1885. It was established to provide a basis of mutual helpfulness and of congenial fellowship. The purpose of Alpha Chi Omega was to provide the advancement of the intellectual, social and moral culture of its members. Alpha Chi Omega's national philanthropy is domestic violence prevention and awareness.

PHILANTHROPY EVENTS: Mr. Alpha Chi & Volley Against Violence
Alpha Chi Omega's national philanthropy became Domestic Violence Prevention and Awareness in 1922 making their organization the first women's fraternity to speak out about domestic violence awareness. They rise funds for their amazing cause by hosting "Volley Against Violence" and "Mr. Alpha Chi". Additionally, they work with MSU Safe Place right here on campus to raise money and awareness surrounding domestic violence prevention.
